Typing and tools
Text you enter in keyboards, practice mode, typing tests, URL cleaner, line counter, and case converter is processed in your browser. We do not upload editor contents to WriteWithin servers.
Cookies and locale
We may store a locale preference cookie (ww_locale) and use a session cookie so your language choice persists. Theme and recent-keyboard preferences may be saved in localStorage on your device.
Analytics and hosting
Our host and any optional analytics provider may log standard request metadata (IP, user agent, pages visited). We do not sell personal data.
Chrome extension
The extension fetches public keyboard layout JSON from our API. It does not transmit the contents of web page text fields to WriteWithin. See the extension privacy blurb in the Extension listing materials.
